Join us at Leather Bound Books & Goods on Saturday, March 21st for a cochineal bandana dyeing workshop. Cochineal dye is derived from dried parasitic insects that live on prickly pear cacti. Amada Miller, a talented maker whose work blends art with science, will be leading the workshop and walking us through the mechanisms underlying the dyeing process.
